Maria Cristina Petitti (she/her) is a director, producer & writer living in Brixton. She specialises in new writing, autobiographical work and working with international companies.
Her directing credits include: IVY BRIDGE FC (in festival circuit currently); BRAVE FACE (Edinburgh Fringe 2021, Drayton Arms, Omnibus Theatre); ZERO (Park Theatre, Norwegian Embassy); SO... YOU KNEW? (Brighton Fringe); J [ A WORKING TITLE ] (The Space Theatre). She was also the Assistant Director on NOMAD (Arcola Theatre); I AM JUST A LITTLE BIT OCD (London Tour).
Maria Cristina was also a founding Artistic Director of Hoo Hah House Productions for which she produced BRAVE FACE & FRIENDS, a week long festival of new writing and performances as well as: BRAVE FACE, FLUMPS, IVY BRIDGE FC, ZERO, J [ A WORKING TITLE ].
She also has worked as production coordinator of BFI-funded TIRAMISÚ (Nervosa Pictures) and as 2nd AD of multi-award winning LARGO (Studio Goodluck & Slick Film).
Maria Cristina's writing began as part of Literary Kitchen with Andrea Mason. She is currently writing a new play TOILET PLAY (working title), an exploration of a decade-long female friendship seen through the eyes of the toilets of their lives; as well as a few comedy short-films.
